Dropping an instrument off is not the same service as teaching, and the delivery map is the wider of the two. Lessons happen in Manhattan, most of Brooklyn, Astoria, Long Island City and Ridgewood in Queens, Westchester, or online — see lesson options.

Pick your instrument and your dates
Choose a day, a week or a month. The booking page shows the total and offers a longer booking when it costs less. For monthly bass, keyboard, tenor or soprano rentals, ask our team about availability.

Choose the handover as you pay
A free pickup time in the East Village, or a two-hour delivery window for $25 in the five boroughs. Rentals starting today or tomorrow always pick a time — somebody has to carry it across town.

Keep it as long as you booked
Case, accessories and professional setup are included, and normal wear and tear is repaired at no cost. Monthly rentals have a one-month minimum and then roll monthly.

Bring it back, or we collect it
Returning it to the East Village is free. We can come and collect it instead for $25, the same as a delivery. No long-term contract to unwind.

Pickup and delivery questions
Where do I pick up a rental?
From our East Village location in Manhattan, and pickup is always free. You choose your pickup time when you book, out of the times that are actually free that day; a person meets you and hands the instrument over, and the exact address comes with your confirmation.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is a flat $25 anywhere in the five boroughs, charged once. You pick a two-hour delivery window at checkout from the slots we can actually make, and nothing is added at the door — no per-mile quote and no fuel surcharge. New Jersey is $35 and we arrange it by text.
Can I get an instrument today?
By pickup, often — same-day pickup times appear at checkout whenever one is still free. By delivery, no: the earliest delivery window we can offer is tomorrow. If you need an instrument in your hands today, choose pickup.
Is the delivery area the same as the lessons area?
No — the delivery map reaches further. We deliver rentals anywhere in the five boroughs and we deliver to New Jersey. Teaching is a separate service, and it covers Manhattan, most of Brooklyn, Astoria, Long Island City and Ridgewood in Queens, Westchester, and online.
What is the short-term rental fee?
Renting by the day or the week adds a one-time fee, charged once for the whole rental. An alto saxophone for three days is $3 a day plus the $15 fee, so $24; a whole week is $16 plus a $7 fee, so $23. When a longer booking costs less, the booking page offers that option for you to choose. Monthly rentals have no short-term fee.
How short a rental can I book?
One day. Saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet and guitar can be booked online by the day, by the week or by the month. Bass and keyboard rentals are monthly, and those still go through us — text or use the form and we will set one up.
How do returns work?
A rental booked by the day or the week ends on the date you picked, and you bring it back to the same East Village location — that is free. Monthly rentals have a one-month minimum and then roll month to month: tell us whenever you are done. Either way we can come and collect it instead, charged like a delivery at $25.
