Support live music

Every lesson helps keep live music alive in New York.

Why it matters
Our teachers are active performing musicians — playing Carnegie Hall, Dizzy's, Blue Note, and dozens of NYC's best stages every week.

When you take a lesson with us, your tuition goes directly to the people keeping this city's music scene alive. We want you to have fun, play the music you love, and get back what you put in. That's it.
Questions, answered

Before you book.

I haven't played in 20 years — is that OK?

+
Yes — about half of our students come back after a long break. Your first lesson is a conversation and some playing, not a test.

What if I've never touched an instrument?

+
You're our favorite kind of student. Our curriculum is designed around adult beginners. No prior music reading required — just show up.

How often do I need to practice?

+
20 minutes, 4 days a week gets real results. We build lessons around a life that already exists.

Do you really come to my home?

+
Yes — anywhere in NYC and Westchester. We also studios in Manhattan and in brooklyn, and run online lessons with dual-camera setups.

How is the membership different from regular lessons?

+
Memberships are weekly or biweekly lessons, billed month to month - lessons do not carry over from month to month. Packages are credits you can use at your pace, valid for 90/120 days from the moment you purchase them. contact us or view policy for more info

Can I cancel anytime?

+
Always. Month-to-month memberships. Credits expire after 90 days for 4 pack and 120 days for 10 pack. No registration fees, no contracts.
