Every class below is built for complete beginners — no instrument, no theory, no experience, no auditions. Come once, or come to everything.
How much do the classes cost?
Classes are free for Kalman Music members. Current Kalman students who aren't members pay $25 per class — and so does any plus-one you bring. Not a Kalman student yet? A class is $35. If you want all of it, the Class Pass is $60/month for unlimited classes.

Do I need any musical experience?
No. Every class is designed for non-musicians. If you've never sung outside your shower, never held a drum, never written a lyric — that's exactly who these are for.
When do classes start?
Fall 2026. Text or call us at (917) 525-3374 and we'll send you the schedule as soon as it's set.
Can I bring a friend?
Please do — a plus-one pays $25 per class. Most of these classes are better with someone you know in the room.
I take lessons with Kalman already. Do I pay?
Members attend free. Students who aren't on a membership pay $25 per class, or $60/month for the pass if you want more than two a month.
