Keyboard choices for an Astoria apartment
An electronic keyboard is a different rental from an acoustic piano. Our collection includes electronic models, with 61- and 88-key options and weighted or non-weighted actions subject to availability. It does not include moving an upright or grand piano into your apartment.
If you are taking piano lessons, send the teacher’s requirements before requesting a model. Check the space for a stand and seat, where power will come from, and whether the headphone connection matches your headphones. Arrange a handover that fits your day
Rental delivery to Astoria is $25. Online bookings offer available two-hour windows starting the next day. For instruments arranged directly with the team, include your preferred date and neighborhood in the enquiry. Let us know about building entry instructions when confirming delivery.
If you prefer pickup, the location is in the East Village, by arrangement; there is no Astoria pickup branch listed here. Choose a confirmed pickup time before setting off and plan how you will carry the instrument and case home. A same-day need should start with checking pickup availability.
Trying an instrument before deciding to buy
Renting gives you time to learn what you want from an instrument. Set a review point after the first period of regular practice: is the instrument comfortable, are the required features right, and do you expect to keep playing? Monthly rentals have a one-month minimum; rental payments do not automatically create ownership.
