Why families choose in-home
The lesson comes to you.
The single biggest reason Westchester parents switch: no more driving to White Plains or Scarsdale and waiting in a lobby. The lesson happens in your living room, during homework hour — and the hour you'd have spent in the car comes back to your family.
- ✓ A real performer at your pianoEvery teacher is an active, vetted professional musician — the kind of player you'd go to a concert to see.
- ✓ A plan from week oneWe match the teacher to your child's taste and goals, and the same teacher returns every week.
- ✓ Seasonal recitalsA real, motivating goal that turns weekly practice into a milestone the whole family shows up for.
Worth doing the math
A studio lesson isn't just the lesson.
It's the drive there, the wait in the lobby, and the drive back — often an hour of your evening for a 30-minute lesson. In-home, that hour comes back to your family, and a working musician plays in your living room instead.
What your child can learn

Questions parents ask
Do you really come to our home?+
Yes — a vetted, professional teacher travels to you anywhere across Westchester, and works on your own piano, guitar, or instrument. No commute, no lobby.
Is the first lesson a real lesson?+
It is — a full 30 minutes with your matched teacher, not a sales pitch. It's there so you can see the teacher and the fit before choosing a package.
What if my child doesn't stick with it?+
That's exactly why the first lesson is low-commitment. After that, packages are flexible with no long contract — buy 4 or 10, use them at your pace, credits roll forward.
Which towns do you cover?+
Scarsdale, New Rochelle, White Plains, Larchmont, Pelham, Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Tarrytown and neighboring areas. We route teachers by neighborhood, so earlier is better.
Do you offer online or studio lessons too?+
Yes. Many families do in-home and switch to online for travel weeks. We also have studios in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Can you help with school ensembles or auditions?+
Absolutely — from beginner band instruments to conservatory-audition and college prep. Tell us the goal and we'll match the right teacher.
