Kalman Music Lessons is a New York City music school whose teachers come to your apartment in Dumbo. We teach piano, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, violin, cello, ukulele, voice and music theory to children and adults, including complete beginners. Lessons happen at your home, at one of our NYC studios, or online. Your first lesson is $15 in our studio or $50 at your home. After that, studio lessons start at $50 and at-home lessons at $60 per 30-minute lesson, both on a 10-lesson package. Call or text (917) 525-3374.

Tal is a wonderful music teacher and I could not recommend him more! I’ve been taking piano lessons for a few months now and have seen tremendous improvement in my playing. Don’t be afraid to jump in if you are worried about how much music background you have. Tal is extremely patient and tailors lessons for you!

He’s extremely kind and professional, and creates a laidback and comfortable environment to make mistakes and learn. He taught at a great pace, and made the whole experience informative and enjoyable. You can tell he is well-versed in playing the piano and teaching others to play. I’m in my mid-twenties with very little music experience, so I was nervous starting piano lessons. Tal made everything simple and fun, explaining concepts clearly and keeping me motivated.
