Our Teachers' Review
Book 2 continues the Essential Elements progression, expanding the student's range, introducing more complex rhythmic patterns, and incorporating ensemble-style exercises that prepare students for band and orchestra playing.
Our teachers assign Book 2 to second-year students or those who completed Book 1 ahead of schedule. The music becomes more interesting and rewarding at this level, which helps sustain motivation during the critical second year of trumpet study.
