Our Teachers' Review
Level 3B rounds out the intermediate foundation for teenage pianists. Completing this book means students have a comprehensive skill set — confident reading, expressive playing, and enough theoretical understanding to learn new music independently.
For many teens, finishing 3B is a natural point to start exploring their own musical interests more deeply. Some dive into classical repertoire, others want to learn pop and rock arrangements, and some discover a passion for jazz or composition. Whatever direction they choose, the foundation built through the Piano Adventures series supports it.
Our teachers use 3B as a springboard for conversations about musical goals. Where does this student want to go? What kind of musician do they want to be? These questions shape the curriculum from this point forward.
