Our Teachers' Review
The Rose 32 Etudes are adapted from the famous Ferling oboe studies and have become essential repertoire for every advancing clarinet student. These etudes appear regularly on audition lists for honor bands, all-state ensembles, and college entrance requirements.
Each etude targets different musical and technical challenges — lyrical phrasing, articulation variety, dynamic contrast, and key mastery. Our teachers assign these studies to intermediate and advanced students to develop the well-rounded musicianship that separates good players from exceptional ones.
