Storing reeds properly is one of the simplest ways to save money on this recurring expense. A reed case keeps reeds flat against a glass surface, preventing warping and extending their playable life significantly compared to leaving them in the original box or on the mouthpiece.
This case holds up to 12 reeds securely, so students can keep multiple reeds in rotation. Our teachers recommend having at least 3-4 reeds in active rotation at all times, as individual reeds perform differently depending on humidity, temperature, and playing time.
