Underground is a free live-music guide operated by Tal Kalman Music. The short version: we don’t run user accounts and we don’t collect personal information about you.

What we store

Shows you save to Pocket and venues you favorite are stored only in your own browser (via localStorage). That data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clear your browser storage and it’s gone.

What we don’t do

We don’t ask for your name, email, or login. We don’t use your device location. We don’t run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Standard server logs

Like any website, our host receives normal technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to serve pages securely and reliably. We don’t use it to identify or profile you.

Maps & third-party links

The map is rendered with MapLibre on CARTO/OpenStreetMap tiles. “Get tickets” and venue links take you to third-party sites (ticketing platforms, venue websites); once you leave Underground, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

If things change

If we add analytics or paid features (e.g. ticket-add payments handled by a provider like Stripe), we’ll update this page first. We would never sell your data.
